Where Are They Now? — Lisa Kinghorn (Griffiths)
How can twenty years feel like yesterday and a million years ago all at the same time? I have been hesitant to place my blog on here for a couple of reasons. First, I am computer handicapped, and if this actually makes it to the site with a picture attached, then miracles truly happen. Second, I have issues with punctuation. So if you can read past the long never ending sentences, here we go.
After high school I attended BYU for two years. Then, realizing I only needed a physics and humanities class to finish my prerequisites for the respiratory therapy program, I finished up at UVSC.
As part of our Humanities grade we were required to hold study groups. Therefore, a back row study group was formed, and that is where I met my true love, Wade Griffiths. (Wade's only downfall is the fact he is an Orem Tiger who also graduated in 1988 and also decided to have their reunion the same weekend as ours.)
We got married and ventured about a mile from both our homes and lived in a nice little condo in Orem. After about three years of that we got very brave and moved a whole twenty miles away where we currently live in American Fork. We really like it here and the only draw back so far is that our children will be Cavemen instead of Bulldogs--(or Tigers as my husband would say, but we won't go there. Who likes cats anyways?).
We have four really great kids. Braden (11) and Barrett (8) who are both loving baseball at the moment and keeping us very busy park hopping. Josie (5) my only girl and best shopping buddy. And Landon (3) who is "Lightening McQueen's" biggest fan, and has the sweetest personality ever.
As for me, I currently work part time as a respiratory therapist in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at UVRMC. I really like my job. It is amazing to watch these tiny babies get well and go home.
I can't wait to see you all at the reunion. It has been great reading about everyone. I hope the posts keep coming in!
