Where Are They Now? — Kim (Blackburn) and Brian Santiago
Hi everyone.
I had a big reality check last night. After playing in a city league b-ball game, a girl on the opposing team (who happened to graduate in '04) told me to take it to the "old ladies" next week. The "old ladies" she was referring to were some of my friends my own age. I wanted to hit her with my cane!
Many of you know that I took the best of Provo High with me when I married Brian Santiago. We have 3 boys and 1 girl: Mckay 12, Colson 10, Jaxon 5 and Whitney 18 mos.
I worked as a Registered Nurse for seven years and "retired" to be at home with our kids. I absolutely love being with them!
Brian graduated from Fresno State and BYU Business School and now works in Athletics at BYU. He too has been called "Old Man" on the basketball court (so rude)!
We live in Provo now and have been able to keep in contact with a few fellow Bulldogs. We look forward to seeing everyone.

My most memorable moments were winning back to back Basketball State Championships and the time I slammed my locker in Brian's face. I ran into the girl's locker room to hide and he followed me right in. He's been following me ever since.
The person who influenced me the most is Coach Betty Clark. She convinced me to play ball by staying true to her theory that we were young ladies first, students second and basketball players third. Basketball paid for my college education and taught me many life lessons.

At least you can still make it up and down the court! I try and about cough up a lung, then go to Will's and get a Diet Coke!
I have such fond memories of nursing school with you. I am looking forward to catching up with you at the reunion.
Beautiful family: four handsome boys and two lovely girls. You all look fantastic.
I love the family picture. I really enjoy watching both of you together, you both are so kind and loving. I am impressed.
See ya soon.

Hello! This site has literally been a blast from the past. I have lost touch with almost everyone and it's been great to take a trip down memory lane.
You two make a great couple! Who would have thought... when I left at 16 I don't think that was a thought yet :) You have a beautiful family. I will miss seeing you at the reunion, wish I could be there.

Cool picture. I think yours is the only family picture in the snow. Kim your're great and I enjoy seeing you from time to time when Sheryl plans something.
Best,
