Where Are They Now? — Howard Snow

Hello all!!

I knew that sooner or later I'd get tracked down. I picked up my cell phone a couple weeks ago and Amy Hughes was on the other line saying "remember me"??? It feels as if graduation has been at least 3 lifetimes ago. When I'm at the reunion, many of you will have to forgive me if I've forgotten names, but just kick me in the shins or something to see if that can job my memory. Seriously, I've been gone from Utah for close to 15 years now...still can't believe it.

Anyway, it's great to read everyone's posts. Here's what I've been up to so far: (at least as far as the CIA will allow my to say). After I finished up at BYU in the liberal arts, I went to get a Master's Degree in Business from George Washington University in DC. Moved to do a quick post-grad fellowship in Austin, TX (great music town!). After that my wife and I moved to San Francisco and lived there for about three years. In SF I did strategy consulting for Accenture working with health systems (much like IHC). Life was great there but travel was tough and the cost of living was beyond ridiculous so we moved to Boise for a great job opportunity and a much more family friendly career in the biotechnology industry.

I do work in hospitals, spending time in ERs, Operating Rooms, etc training surgeons, specialists, etc on how to use injectable medications / monoclonal antibodies. When I told Brandon Hill this he said "wait, didn't you barely pass Mr. Webb's Anatomy class?

Well, Boise is about a million miles away from where I thought I'd end up, but in all honesty, it's the greatest city and we absolutely love it here. If anyone's ever up in Boise, please give me a call! There's always good food to be found, a great art scene, and the music scene completely rocks. I go to see live shows with my wife, cronies, and on occasion I'll take my oldest son who's just getting ready to turn 12. Speaking of family, it's a complete testosterone festival in the Snow household : 4 boys (handsome little devils) and holding strong. Ages are 11, 9, 7, 2. Unless I win the Powerball lottery I think we're set on the kid front.

Within the last few months, I've actually been making a few cameo appearances in Utah as my older brother and I opened up a restaurant there. Spare time will find me on my road / mountain bike. I heard from Brandon Hill that he's done a few triathlons and so I'm looking to hook up with him and anyone else who's interested in doing the unthinkable. My wife and I make it a point to take at least one international trip each year. Thus far we've been to Europe, Africa (note to self : do not put your arm on the queen of Swaziland...picture of me being arrested attached), Asia, South America and the South Pacific. The world is an amazing place as you all must now know.

Well, I should be able to make the reunion so I'll look forward to seeing you all there!
Best to all.

Howard

Hey Howard! Well, it looks like you have survived being the only boy for YEARS in our sunday school class. You seem to have come out unscathed. Tell me, honestly, was it all that bad? Seems like a pretty good ratio to me. Especially when we had Mark Weist and you guys seemed more like buddies then student/teacher. Remember the "donies"? You look great, hardly changed a bit! So many memories come to mind when I think of those years, like when we all watched Salem's Lot at Mark's house. I am pretty sure that you just wanted Amy or some other cute girl to get scared out of her wits and snuggle up to you. At least that's what I think now, back then I'll admit I wasn't as savvy =D I'm glad you're going to be at the reunion!

Howard,
Great to hear from you. Good life. Great Fam. Way to kick @$$ in the biz world! Lance has filled me in a bit on how you've been, from time to time, but you've definitely been hiatus status since BYU. When I think of Howard, I think of the Beetles, Rush, Fletch, Spinal Tap, and doing hand-break 360's on icy roads in the Maxima. My adrenaline threshold is much greater as a result of some of our misadventures. Good times at PHS! Great to see you still know how to have fun.

Howard,

Man it's good to see you. We had some great times cruising in the Maxima cranking to Ac/Dc and Billy Squire. Good time, look forward to seeing you at the reunion (I'll be the one with the shiny noggin)

Howard,
It's nice to see what you've been up to. Your family looks great! I have alot of great memories of staying up all night studying, craming for tests, skiping lunch to go to the library, and scripture chasing. (At least thats the version my kids hear.) I'm looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.

Howard,
I frequently drive past your old home on the wild-mouse on the way to my parents and think to myself, I wonder what happened to Howard Snow. Good to read up on your life. Your family and you look great. Hope to see you soon.

Hi Howard,
It was fun to read about your accomplishments over the last 20 years. Your boys are very cute.
My sister, Melissa and her husband Cliff Maag, recently moved back to Utah from Boise. When I went there to visit I thought it was a great city.
I noticed your mom and dad in the last picture... how are they doing?
Does Jean Marie still live in Provo? What is Buffy up to?
It will be fun to see you at the reunion.

Howard! I have been wondering where you were for years. Your family is adorable. You were definitely the best looking and most cool guy I dated in high school. It looks like that hasn't changed. I always thought you would become a doctor (most likely an OB/GYN). I look forward to seeing you!

Howard,

I have great memories when reflecting on times spent together at PHS. I have to agree with comments by Andy and Scott. I'll have to have you come out to California when I am settled and teach me about those injections. It's great to see that you are taking advantage of what life has to offer. You have a great looking family.
