Where Are They Now? — James Arvidson
If you want a post from an old “C-Winger” (I always hated the label). I think I was one of the original ones. Who knows, it was a long time ago and I don’t think anyone’s memory is as good as it used to be.
My story is very long a convoluted. I disappeared in 1987-88. Resurfaced a few times through the years and moved back to Utah in 1998. Where I went does not really matter much. Where I am now is what matters.
Everyone from High School would probably agree that it is amazing I am still alive. I planned on 25 tops! 38, this is not a part of the plan! I cannot be that old. The only thing that makes me feel that old is the aches from all the injuries over the years. Especially when it rains. J Or, when I hear 80’s music on the “Oldies” station.
I do have to say this is the best part of my life so far. I am happier than I can ever remember being and much different than when I was in High School. I think that now, you go to jail for the crap we did in school (no one was there, no one saw a thing and we cleaned up the evidence) (joking a little).
Married (first and only marriage) for 6 short years now (I robbed the cradle but she is wonderful and worth the wait) with 2 kids (a boy, Jacob that is 4 and a girl, Kiersten that will be 1 right before the reunion). I really have not thought much about High School since then, other than the occasional, "I wonder whatever happened to....".
I think my wife had a heart attack the other day when I found this site and asked her if she wanted to go. She went and bought the tickets, so I’ll see everyone there.
I have a wonderful family and home in, of all places, Utah. After traveling the world I end up back in Utah. Figures. LOL (I actually like it after all these years).
So, in short, Happy, Health and always learning new things with a wonderful family.
Well if you actually want to know more about me, drop me a line. Maybe I'll see you in a month and a half at the 20 year reunion if you decide to come.

aren't you the one with registered lethal hands?

A good friend of mine has a boy that is 17 now and he flipped out when he saw the record and CD collection of all the old 80's punk. So, since then I have slowly been burning music to CD's for him. Funny thing is I have not listened to any of it in years. I am usually listening to KSL and News Radio.
As far as my hands go. They're just old and hurt at times :)
Take care,
