Where Are They Now? — Crystal Caley (Rowley)

It has been so much fun reading about everyone and where they've been the last TWENTY years! Twenty years? Seriously, where did it go?

Thanks to everyone that has been sending in posts! It's been fun to catch up with everyone!

Where have I been? Well, I left good old PHS half way through my junior year with the intent of graduating early (mission accomplished) and getting married after my high school sweetheart, Rob Rowley, graduated (class of '87)! We married in June of 1987 and then it was off to college with a plan for children to follow two years later.

Well, we thought it was a good plan however one very persistent little girl decided 2 - 3 years was not part of her plan! 20 days short of our 1 year anniversary we had Morgan and nineteen months after that our son Casey joined the family. I stayed home with the kids and Rob finished college.

Once the kids were a little older I went back to work. I worked as a group home manager for a while and then changed direction and became a convenience store manager for several years. I took another change in direction and went to work at FranklinCovey for about 4 years and then left to join another training & consulting company in American Fork and I've been there for the last 8 1/2 years.

Rob got his degree in Automotive repair and is currently a diesel mechanic for a company in Orem.

We are still living in southwest Provo so Morgan and Casey attended Provo High and I have to tell you, I know A wing, B Wing, C wing, etc are all still in there somewhere but they are a little more difficult to find now! That place has grown!

Morgan followed in her Mom's footsteps and finished up her high school requirements early so she decided to attend Bon Losee Hair academy during her senior year. Morgan graduated in 2006 with her class and then finished cosmetology school three months later; she is now working as a stylist at Lunatic Fringe in Sugarhouse. Morgan will turn 20 this year.

Casey turned 18 in December and is a senior this year however he will be graduating as an Orem Tiger; once his sister graduated he decided to transfer to the school where most of his friends were attending. Casey is hoping these last two weeks of school will last forever because he doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up (besides independently wealthy but don't we all?).

I keep looking at my kids and wondering who's they are because I'm certainly not old enough to have kids this age. Okay, maybe I'm just in denial....

I'm sad to say that I won't be able to make it to the reunion this time around but I have high hopes for the next one!

I hope everyone has a fabulous time at the reunion!

Crystal

Jeff - I was hoping you and Marianne would surface on this site! I lost all the data in my phone and with that was Marianne's e-mail, etc. Have Marianne get in touch with me at crystal.rowley@q.com.

Now quit lurking out there and send in your "where you've been" update. =)

I've thought about you and Rob over the years wondering how you are...
I've surely missed you! It sounds like you're doing great things.
Your youngest (Casey) and my oldest (Kenzie) are the same age and went through their senior year together at OHS.
If you want to get in touch with me, my email is lleefarrer@yahoo.com.
Take care, Hon, and don't watch the Texas Chainsaw Massacre without me.
