Where Are They Now? — Sheryl Hale (Pryor)

Hello Everyone,

It has been so fun to read about your lives!

Life since high school has been rich and rewarding, although not without challenge. My husband Gary, is awesome. I've been happily married almost 18 years. We have four children, three sons and one daughter. Our oldest boy is Kendall. He is 15 years old and enjoys art, writing and can't wait to get his drivers licence. Next is Weston, he is 12 and loves friends and music. Braiden, at 10 years is active, lively and fascinated with earning money. Last May I finally got my baby girl. Indi (short for Indigo) is 11 months old. There is a 9.5 year age span between my boys and girl. I'm thrilled about starting all over again. More reason to try to stay forever young.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in June. Hair or no hair, I may not recognize you but I'll still be your friend!

See you in June!

Love, Sheryl

Sheryl - You are gorgeous! Don't worry, I haven't told anyone about us sneaking into your backyard in our underwear so your mom wouldn't know what we were up to. I think we were wading in Provo River and our clothes started to smell like dead fish so we took them off (I think that that was your suggestion and I was only five years old, so I didn't see anything wrong with it). I have a journal entry referring to you as "supr kul" and my "best frend" from when I was 5. I can't wait to see you again this summer (please wear clothes so your mom doesn't yell at us again). I miss Duke - the greatest dog EVER!

Sheryl,
Still can't believe we wore "peach" to Jr. Prom. Thanks for being my prom date. It was so much fun, but not as fun as it has been showing off our pictures over the years with the mega-eighties tux I wore! I miss your back yard rope swing. I planted a tree in my own back yard for this very reason, but unfortunately it will take about 50 years before I can put that rope up. Also, thanks for kissing Lance, Andy, and I on graduation night. I'm glad I was first! You were definitely the cutest girl any of us kissed in high school.

Ok Sheryl, i guess i should admit to everyone that you only kissed us on the cheek;) and it was because you felt sorry for us...

yeah, and I was off taking a girl home and missed the kiss. i am still scarred. that and the fact that no mater how much I prayed you never asked me to a girls choice dance. like I was going to ask you. can you say "out a my league". you are the bomb ad thanks for writing on my mission.
hope to see you.

(I really did have the biggest crush on you, but was a big fat chicken) I can say it now I have been through therapy!

Sheryl,

You look exactly the same. You were always a great friend. You have a beautiful family. Sorry I won't get to see you at the reunion (I can't come), I wish I could come. Also, thanks for going through with that kiss on new years, we all felt so bad that Lance was VL so thanks a lot for being his first:)

SHERYL!! Great to hear from you! A favorite "Blast from my Past"!! How is it that you look equally as gorgeous as you did in the glory days? It was fun to hear about what you've been up to. Congrats on your beautiful family!

PS I know we couldn't ever trust Andy, either, but hopefully he's changed his wicked ways...

Hey sista! It was so great to see you at dinner and I am hoping that we will continue to stay in touch. I told my dad what you said about when we were close friends and he was very touched. You are such a big part of all my good memories of Dixon and Freshman year. Thank you!!!

It was so fun to see you in April. Thanks for putting that dinner together.

So many of my high school memories include you. You were/are such a great friend to this day. Your family is amazing and your little girl is so cute. Have you found out what #5 is?

Talk to you soon! Love, Vicki

Hi Sheryl,

I always thought you were one of the most beautiful girls at school, not only for your looks but also because you were so nice and cheerful all the time. You still look beautiful and you have a wonderful family. Thank you for your friendship. I wish I could be there at the reunion.

What did you do, adopt all your kids? There is no way someone should look that good after 4 kids.

I guess I shoulda tried to sway you my way back in high school but I was to much of a clown. Do you think I would of had a chance?

The years have been kind to you.
You deserve the best.

P.S I still have room for 1 more wife :)

Hey Sheryl! It was so good to hear from you! I don't have a kissing comment like all the others but I do have great memories of our trip to Moab! I still can't believe our parents let us go! What were they thinking? Can't wait to see you, Gary, and the kids!

Thanks Sheryl- I think I was known as the tall shy guy! I'm sure you mixed me up with someone else, but hey after 20 yrs that can happen. You and your family look so great together. Funny to think about us back in H.S. and just dating for fun, now many of us have a family- its crazy! Where did the time go? I'm really excited to get back home. I love Missouri, but I miss all my friends, and running into people you know just doesn't happen much out here. See you in a few weeks- Rod

Sheryl,
So have you sold your fountain of youth secrets yet? Thanks for the kind words. I agree with everyone else who has posted. You have a lovely family, and well deserved. I certainly remember your genuine kindness, which is obviously still intact! To answer your questions, yes I have flown over Iraq, but only between the wars, during the no fly zone days. It'll be great to catch up with you at the reunion, especially to see everyone's kids at the picnic!

Sheryl,

You look amazing! You have beautiful family and I'm happy you have your girl! I have 3 (15, 11 and 2)and they are a lot of fun. Like you, our last one came a little later in life. It's interesting to have a highschooler and a toddler :)

Wish I could be there. Say hello for me as well.
