Where Are They Now? — Rob McKay
As for me, after graduation, I ran cross country and track at Weber State and then served a mission in Germany. The Berlin Wall fell while I was there, which made for an exciting and interesting time. When I got home from my mission, I attended BYU, where I married Lynae Bidstrup from Idaho Falls (the one in Idaho). We've been married for 16 years and have, yep, you're right, 4 children: Andy (14--a freshman in high school--he's named after Andy Andrus, someone with whom I still keep in touch and greatly admire), Grace (9 going on 19. Tough as nails and probably a future corporate raider. My favorite quote from this week: "That's just how things are gonna be, Dad, so get with the program."), Rose (7--she's a little St. Francis--every animal within one mile of our house has been given sanctuary in her room at one time or another) and Shannon (3--a complete girlie-girl--she already has her summer wardrobe chosen--it's all pink, but you had probably already guessed that). After the last 12 years, we are extremely happy that the diaper-changing era of our lives is over. Can I get an AMEN!?!?
After graduating from BYU, we moved to New York City where I attended Columbia Law School. After law school, we moved to Washington, D.C. where I practiced corporate law and worked on international transactions and had the opportunity to spend some time abroad (mostly in Europe--I've got a cool story about how we got a flat in London, but I'll spare sharing it here because my wife rolls her eyes each time I tell it--my wife told me once that when she rolls her eyes, she is just thinking about how much she loves me. She must think about how much she loves me a lot.). We are still living in suburban Washington, D.C. and I'm working in-house for an energy company where I'm responsible for mergers and acquisitions and corporate law issues. I'm also teaching corporate law at the University of Maryland Law School.

My wife and I have been teaching early morning seminary in our basement to 15 high school students (including our son) for the last couple of years and we love it. We remind them on a regular basis that high school is an important place to learn from mistakes, but that life gets much better. I tell them stories of about my screw ups in high school (and there were many--so very, very many) and that usually makes them feel better about themselves (I'm not quite sure how I feel about that).
I look forward to seeing you all at the end of June!

You were always my first love. I can't believe you could say such a thing. I would never run around with my clothes off, I was always a very good girl. What a blessing Alzheimer's must be in your life. Please Tell Lynae hello for me. She married one of the best. What great kids you have, I hope they take after Lynae. Can't wait to see you and your family.

It does not surprise me that you have the most comments I have seen. You have a way with people. And I never would have spiked you on purpose (unless you had done something totally annoying.) You look great.
Best,
Lois Decker (Brown)
Where to start...well, whatever. I am just excited that you are coming to the reunion! I cant wait to catch up. I still feel bad about the bloody nose, but it was fun, yeah?

I finally got a dance picture with Rob McKay, there's no denying it now. Thanks for the memories.
