Where Are They Now? — Brandon Hill

Career: After a mission in Brazil I graduated from BYU where I also swam. I then spent two years building clean rooms followed by 7+ great years at Layton Construction. During that time I got to work with a lot of great people and work on some really cool projects. (Shops at Riverwoods, Olympic Speed Skating Oval, for you that live in Vegas the two RC Willeys, etc.) In Jan of ‘05 I received an opportunity to leave a very large stable company to go to a start-up company (SIRQ) that only had 2 full time employees and one very small project under contract (and in the process take a large pay cut). How could I say “no” to that offer? Although very risky, my wife and I made the move and have never regretted the decision to join SIRQ.
Family: As I quickly approached the “menace to society” age I was lucky enough to marry a Southern Bell from Alabama. Suzanne and I married in ‘99 and she truly is one of the nicest persons you’ll ever meet (she’s the reason we have friends.) We have 3 kids, Anna Grace (7), Allie (5) and Hunter (3). We were trying keep up with Craig Anderson but he was having kids so fast we had to throw in the towel at 3. The kids love to ski, ride their little four wheeler, swim like fish, and go to Costco with their mom. We lived in Orem for a year, then Vegas for a year, and have called AF home since ‘01.

So in a nut shell I’ve just been living the American dream; mortgage and mini-van payment and all too frequent trips to the ER to patch the kids up.

Nice family! It's good to hear you are keeping up with your fish/swimming skills. I need to get back in shape.

It is so great to see your family and that life is treating you so well. It is amazing to think back on some of our experiences so long ago and see how and where our lives have taken us. It is clear that you have taken advantage of the many good things life has sent your way.

If you need to borrow a car to get to Jackson Hole you can get there in just a few hours.

What a cute family. It looks like you have done very well for yourself!
Remember when our lockers were by each other at Dixon our 7th grade year and we would constantly pull pranks on each other? Fun times!
I had a crush on you in elementary school, and I imagine, if we ran into each other, not much would have changed. If you ran past me at a triathlon, you would totally inspire me to faster times (likely just to keep you in eyesight). Your wife is a lucky woman. You have a beautiful family.
I cant believe that is you. I still remember you when we were little kids. You've done a lot of wonderful things with your life. I am impressed. Hope you are planning on going to the reunion.
PHS has waaaay too many memories with you in them. Let's see what we can do about their removal. Seriously, swim team, the head shave and your killer sense of humor got me through many-a-year while there. Great to see your family and I really hope to be able to see you at the reunion.
Take care man,
Howard
