Yvonne Krolls (Lather)

Where to begin. I have lived in many places in the past 20 yrs, three days after graduation I moved to NJ to be a nanny where I met my first husband and the father of my children. After 14 yrs that marriage ended. With him I lived in NJ, UT, AZ, TX and AL.

In May 2004 I met my current husband John Lather and lived in TN for 4 yrs with him and we are now living in Northwest OH near Toledo. I am the mother to Andrew "Drew" who will be 18 in July and Taelor "Tae" who will be 16 in June. UGH am I old!I am an accounting clerk at Diehl Food Ingredients, Inc. in Defiance OH and also attend school part time majoring in Accounting.

I served a year in the Army 2001-2002 stationed at Ft. Sill, OK. I received my first Bachelor's degree 12/2005 from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.

I also have a 6 yr old stepdaughter Mya and two fur babies. Roxy is our 1 1/2 yr old miniature pinscher and TJ is our 2 you cat that believes he's a dog. Which is okay because Roxy believes she's part cat.

I am one of those weird people who absolutely loved high school and would do it again in a heartbeat. I know it had its very rough times, but after all it had a lot to do with making me who I am today. Absolutely NO regrets!

I am in touch with many friends from PHS, but would love to hear from more. Can never have too long a Christmas card list!

THEN

NOW

Believe it or not, this is me in 11/2001 when I was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK. Shocker I know.

How fun to see all your cute pictures! You were always such a kind, loving person in high school so it's not surprising to see you have a loving family (including cute furry family members) now!

Thank you for all your help contacting people! I hope you can make it to the reunion!

I can remember picking up my kid from you while you were in Provo. Do you remember baby-sitting for us way back then? Look forward to seeing you this summer.

Yvonne,
It looks like you have not changed. You still know how to make everyone feel loved. What a great gift. I can't believe how tall your boy is. It is going to be neat to see you again and meet your family.

How are you??? I still remember laughing on the bus as we drove all over Germany. I also remember an incident involving you on the train to East Berlin, but it is a bit hazy at this point (probably better for everyone that we not remember it). Look forward to seeing you this summer!

Yvonne,
Many high school memories have faded, but the good times certainly last. I'm glad we were there together. You look tough in those fatigues. I bet your kids don't give you any lip. Sorry you can't make it to the reunion, but hey, our 30 year will only be in another 10 years!

Yvonne,
The pics of your pup are a crack-up. I've got some similar. The kids love to dress our Beagle up on occasion. Thanks for being so active on this blog site and for being so outgoing and friendly. Hope to see you.

Yvonne,
Thanks for your kind words. I am very proud of my husband and everything he does for our country. I have to give you a high five for your service also and to be stationed in Oklahoma blahhhh.... My husband has done many classes there and I have visited him, very hot out there. Hope to see you in a few weeks...Sharmel

To say you have been active on this site is an understatement, where are the stats on your i.p. log time, wink.
I agree with one of your points strongly, to view PHS experience as a great place to start, with many joyous moments we recall these so well. We forget the embarrassing or agonizing instances define our future life direction, which is by far more important definitive.
you haven't said if you are coming to the reunion, its easy you recall just fill the tank in the car and drive like mad. When the exit sign says Provo you stop, oh sorry that's my memo. ttyl8r

You are one of the kindest, outgoing people from the class of '88. We've all enjoyed your positive, upbeat comments. I wish I'd known you better in high school. Sorry we missed you last night.

Yvonne,
Your posts have been delightful to read over the past few months. I think your enthusiasm contributed greatly to this weekends success. You are awesome!
The Germany trip with you, the gang and Herr Chambers was a highlight of my high school experience. Thanks for being a great friend to us all.

I want you to know that I missed you at the reunion this past weekend. You were so kind in your posts and Amy (Hughes) Russell talked about you in her presentation Friday night and how much it meant to everyone that you are so supportive. All I kept thinking was "Yep. That's the Yvonne I remember from high school and Germany." I missed seeing you and talking to you, but I'm sure our paths will cross again.

You are wonderful!
I just made it back to St. George after the reunion weekend. We missed you and I want you to know that I really look up to you for being so friendly and responding to everyone's blog. It takes someone special to do that. They mentioned how special you were at the reunion dinner so even though you weren't there physically, we definitely felt you in spirit.
