Where Are They Now? — Scott Miller
I’m the guy that half the time everyone thought I was Andy Horton. Sometimes that worked to my advantage, other times not so much.
After graduation, and after returning from a mission in St. Louis, MO, I attended BYU. This was pretty much PHS Part 2 because of all the familiar faces on campus. After graduation I went to work for a company called Tahitian Noni International. In 2000, I finished up my Master’s at BYU.
Because of my incredible looks and suave with the female gender, I got a late start on the marriage thing. At 29, I married a dang hot Kansas girl and we have two handsome and very active boys—ages 2 and 6 (they got mom’s looks, obviously). We live in American Fork. I now work for a start-up company called, Ocean Grown International. My job is truly a “dream come true” experience because of where I get to spend much of my time: “Honey, I’m going on a ‘research’ trip—I’ll be in Hawaii for the next few weeks.”
Though I don’t see them often enough, I still consider Lance Garvin, Andy Horton, Jason Forest, and Clark Bayles my great friends. I have to say, most of the good things I enjoy in life are a direct result of their friendship, support and example to me both in high school and after. I can only hope that my boys have friends like this. I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

That was very kind of you to say that about me, it just goes to say that you must not have kissed anyone on the cheek before. Really it will be great to see you again and to meet your awesome wife. You, Lance, Clark and Andy were always so kind to me. A lot of guys thought I was weird or something. Thanks for always being so nice.

Man, we never talk. We all need to get together- let's go crash Clark's home in Kamas. Actually, I need to see your new home.
Lance
You look so happy in your picture and your family is darling.
I didn't know you served your mission in St. Louis. Rusty is from there, and his mom and all three of his sisters live there now. We go there about 4-5 times a year (it's only about 4-5 hours from here). It's great to take kids there because everything is free--Zoo, Science Center, museums, etc. If you ever take your family there let us know. We may be there at the same time.
You, Lance and Andy were such great friends to me and my friends. So many of my high school memories have you guys in them. It was really good to hear from you. Vicki Thompson (O'Brien)
