Where Are They Now? — Heather Cox
Hi, it's Heather Cox.
Summer '88 I went to France with Mr. Burnah's student group, came back and went to school at SUU in Cedar City. I got my English degree and promptly put it to good use as a ski bum at Brian Head Resort. Got tired of that and spent the next 10 years working at SUU. I promoted starting a campus women's center, planned the campus women's weeks and volunteered & was a board member for the city women's shelter. I really enjoyed it. I'm temporarily in Utah County working for the state with Child & Family Services and will be back in Cedar this summer. I'm graduating with a second BS in psychology and will eventually be a therapist.
Some fun stuff I've done along the way - ran a few 5ks, a triathlon, snorkeled in Hawaii and Mexico, fell totally in love with Bryce and Zion National Parks. I'm single mom to a ten year old daughter, Morgan, and possibly the oldest goldfish on the planet. When I'm not with them or working I'm at the book shop, knitting shop, or blissing out on a hiking trail somewhere.
Cheers, Heather

It was fun reading about what you have been doing. Sounds like you stay busy. I think you could do a lot of good in that field of work.
We had one of those eternal goldfish for a while. We inherited from my brother when he left on his mission. He got it from a girl who asked him to a dance in high school.
I have great memories of Creative Writing class with you.
