Where Are They Now? — Clark Bayles

I was a move-in our Junior year so many may not know me. Anyway, after graduation from PHS I quickly went on a mission to Taiwan and served with fellow class of 88 grad Mike Verville. Upon my return I recieved a football scholarship to Ricks and went there where my little sis was on a basketball scholarship. I met and married Teresia Kruyer of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 6 months after my return from Taiwan. Tragically Teresia died with child shortly before our 6 month anniversary.

After I graduated from Ricks a few years later, I continued with football at USU in Logan and met Dianne Goates.

After I graduated from USU (neither my wife nor myself are True Aggies) I continued on and received my masters 2 years later. I have worked in public education for 11 years as a high school guidance counselor—5 years in Utah, 6 in Las Vegas. We have been married 14 years and have 6 children: Ashley 13, Hailey 11, Riley 8, Molly 5, Lily 2, and Jonny 7 mo.

Life is awesome and kids are the greatest gift I have. My wife stays home and is the hardest working person I know.

I remember you as being one of the cool kids even though you were new. I sat next to you in English our senior and loved hearing your funny stories.

I'm going with Yvone on this--you may have been new but you were definitely considered one of the cool guys!

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your first wife, but wow, what a wonderful family you have now. I don't know how you do six kids--I can barely handle my four! I remember you as being such a nice, even tempered guy, though, so you're probably a great dad!

Clark, you're my hero! I can't believe you still have all of your hair, have only gained weight as a result of actual muscle, and look so freaking young. Every time I'm about to do something a little scary or physically demanding, I think of you and your athleticism. I think, "Clark could do this, maybe I can, too!" Then, of course I can't, but at least I can say I tried. Thanks for always being a great friend in high school. You were a friend to everyone and a great example. You certainly deserve all the great stuff that you have experienced.

Clark, do you remember my most embarassing moment that happened in Mr. Rutter's English class, when Buffy Snow wrote you a note about me and Mr. Rutter copied it for everyone to correct the grammer? I have told many a young woman that story to get them through their "teen trials." It tops them all!!! I think I still have the note.

You were/are awesome, and I'm so happy for you. Rusty said that y'all were in the MTC together. Your family sounds great and I'll bet you are an amazing school counselor. Hope to see you. Vicki Thompson (O'Brien)

Clark you look so freaking in shape. I'm embarrassed to be in the same graduating class. So good to hear about your endeavors. Your family looks like a joy. Having big sisters should toughen up those boys of yours.

My memories of you consist of a trip to St. George during spring break. I remember you being a riot on the drive down and that you ended up crashing in our tub because you didn't have anywhere else to stay. Thanks for the memories =D

Dude,

It's time to get together again. Let's plan it. BTW- great picture. Why do you look the same as you did 20 years ago?

Clark,

How could you have a crush on me when you were dating everyone else, especially Wendy. Well that makes me feel good. Not that it did me any good in high school. Thanks for the kind comment though. It will be great to see you again.

Clark, You are a stud! You are in better shape now than you were in high school! And you were an iron man then! When are we getting together again?? It's been too long. Let us know and Andy will bring the steaks and shrimp.

Hi Clark,
I, like Melinda, remember our spring break trip to St. George in my Rabbit. I remember jumping on the beds until the manager called up to our room and asked us to quiet down. Fun times!
You sure have a beautiful family!

Nice to hear how well you and the family are doing. Please pass along my hello's to your mom.

You might have been a transplant but you were welcomed right in and and did just fine.

Hope to see you at the reunion
