Where Are They Now? — Brian Christensen

I worked as the Head Custodian at PHS from 1991 to 1996. I then transferred to the new middle school (Centennial) and worked with Clark Bayles' dad (George Bayles was the Principal and Jess Christen received his administrative certificate and was the Assistant Principal). I married in June of 1991 and we had two children. I later divorced. I married again and had a short 2nd marriage with one son from that marriage.
In 2002, I began working for the Utah School Employees Association. I work as a Labor Relations Representative (it's a union). As part of the USEA staff, I represent the non-teaching public school employees in the State of Utah. It is an awesome job! I get to meet with School District Superintendents, Business Administrators and Human Resource Directors and work out employment issues and contract negotiations. I service Alpine, Salt Lake City, Duchesne, Uintah, Carbon, Emery, Grand and San Juan school districts; I drive a lot!
In September of 2006...yep...you won't believe it...I married again...this time, it's going to work!!! I am married to the most marvelous woman and she keeps me in line! She is a wound certified nurse (1 of 14 in the state). She works as a Wound Care Nurse Administrator.
I have started my own business (with a great business partner); it is a business that I am very proud of and is a great benefit and service to small employers. It is a Human Resource and Business Consulting company. I get to help people make sure that they are following federal, state and local laws pertaining to employees. I do the dirty work while the business owners get to have fun doing what they love to do.
I am busy these days with teenagers...were we like them? I don't remember being that way! Well, that's about it for me...not much excitement, just living day to day and trying to survive. It's been a crazy 20 years!
